「KANAME」は、誰でも自作できる設計と、デザイン性、流通の関係を考えたプロジェクトです。加工が容易な設計でありながら、「要」となる部品が入念にデザインされ、合理的かつユーモラスなプロポーション、発見のある動きや機能をもったプロダクトとして成り立つ要素となっています。
完成形/金物のみ/（公開された図面や3Dデータを元に)全DIY、をユーザーが選択するという、インタラクティブな流通としての提案も含んでいます。
KANAME is a project that considers the relationship between design and flow, in a layout that can be built by anyone. This product is composed of elements such as discoverable movements and functions, logical and humorous proportions, meticulously designed "essential(kaname)" components, and an easy-to-process layout.
It also includes a proposal for interactive flow between designer and user, in which the user selects the complete form / Kaname component only / all DIY (based on published drawings and 3D data).
