神田にある築50年のビル内の5/6Fの住居をレンタルスペースにリノベーションした。
スケルトンのラフさを現す構成の中に、古い建具や和室などの既存の部分を残しつつ、キッチンやシャワーなどの設備を新設したり、色/素材使いの混在や大きな採光による居心地の良さや爽やかさも引き出している。

解体、塗装、左官などはDIYで仕上げた。

プロダクトデザイナーでもある施主にとって、実験的イベントスペースとして、自社運営による様々な貸出し方をすることで、人と空間とプロダクトの新たな関係性を模索し再考するためのスペースでもある。

We renovated a residence on the 5th and 6th floor of a 50-year-old building in Kanda, Tokyo, into a rental space.
In the roughness of the skeleton, the existing parts such as the Japanese-style room are kept, while a new kitchen and shower are installed, and the coziness and freshness are brought out by the mixture of colors and materials and the large windows.

The demolition, painting, and plastering of the kitchen were done by DIY.

For the owner, who is also a product designer, the space is also an experimental event space where he can explore and reconsider the new relationship between people, space, and products by renting it out in various ways through his own management.
